What a perfectly lovely snowy day! These are the days where the earth requires that you hibernate. A warm fire glowing in the fireplace. A pot of hot soup simmering on the stove while bread bakes in the oven. The children quickly eat their lunch so they can go back outside to play with friends. The house is quiet as all of the squeals of joy from sledding are reserved for the back hill. The first snow day of the school year!
